Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Integration Tester with hands-on expertise in Tricentis Tosca to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of integration testing principles, automation frameworks, and tools, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality testing solutions in complex systems.

As an Automation Integration Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication and functionality across interconnected systems, using Tosca to design, automate, and execute integration test scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Testing: Validate and test data flow and functionality between various systems, applications, and modules.

Identify and troubleshoot issues related to system communication and integration points.

Automation Development: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca.

Create reusable test modules and scenarios for integration workflows.

Test Strategy and Planning: Analyze requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive integration test strategies.

Design test plans, scenarios, and test data to validate integration functionalities.

Defect Reporting and Tracking: Identify, document, and report defects, providing detailed steps to reproduce.

Work closely with developers to resolve issues and perform retesting.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to ensure robust system integrations.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide updates on testing progress.

Performance Testing: Execute performance and load testing on integration points to ensure system reliability under various conditions.

Continuous Improvement: Optimize and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks for improved efficiency and coverage.

Stay updated with advancements in Tosca and integration testing best practices.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in integration testing and test automation.

Proficiency in  Tosca for creating automated test cases.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of integration concepts, APIs (REST/SOAP), and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).

Knowledge of scripting or programming languages like Python, Java, or C# is a plus.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):

Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Experience with other test automation tools in addition to Tosca.

Knowledge of database testing and writing SQL queries.
