Job Description:
As an SDET Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with development teams, product designers, and stakeholders to implement and oversee testing strategies, automation frameworks, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Expertise: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the systems end-to-end functionality.
- Product Design Collaboration: Participate in product design discussions, offering insights into testability and planning.
- SDLC Engagement: Actively engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, and testing.
- Test Automation: Set up and manage test automation frameworks, write test scripts, and automate test data generation.
- Acceptance Testing: Create test environments and acceptance tests to ensure feature compliance.
- Bug Management: Build, control, and manage bug reports, ensuring effective collaboration with the development team.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of production releases, ensuring high standards are met.
- Code Flow Understanding: Comprehend the flow of code and its interactions across different components.
- Best Practices: Establish and maintain best practices, guidelines, and standards within the team.
- Team Growth: Identify growth opportunities and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Code Reviews: Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code.
- API Expertise: Understand API development and management, ensuring robust integrations.
- Containerization: Leverage container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for backend service deployments.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize web and mobile application services for maximum speed and performance.
- Adherence to Standards: Align with T-Mobile standards and guidelines.
- Emerging Technologies: Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools in the testing domain.
- Test Data Management: Generate and manage test data using advanced tools.
Qualifications:
- Prior T-Mobile Experience is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in setting up and managing test automation frameworks.
- In-depth understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.
- Hands-on experience with API development and API management platforms.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong bug tracking, reporting, and resolution skills.
- Familiarity with performance tuning techniques for web and mobile applications.
- Telecom domain knowledge is a plus.
