Role: IBM MQ Administrator
Location: 3 Days Onsite Hybrid Philadelphia, PA, USA
Job Responsibilities:
• Administer and manage the Middleware tools – IBM MQ, IBM ACE, IBM Datapower and OpenShift 4.x
• Experience in Installation of IBM MQ on All midrange servers ( Linux, AIX and Windows )
• Experience in onboarding message integrations and cluster configurations.
• Must have working experience in administering the Redhat OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Responsible for supporting and deploying applications to use Messaging routes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills is must.
• Problem resolution skills with MQ Product logs along with Queue manager logs
• Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
• Good knowledge on SSL configurations & certificate renewals.
• Good experience on Linux & Windows platforms with scripting knowledge.
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
• Flexible to work in shifts & be on-call support.
• Flexible to work in shifts & be on-call support & Resolving P1 / P2 issues as per SLA.
• Must have a technical ability to develop solutions in coordination with apps and Business technology teams.
• Good to have experience on middleware tools – Openshift, Datapower & MuleSoft.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent major)
• 10-14 yrs of Admin experience in IBM MQ, IBM App Connect
• Handling deployment, configurations, and Integration with IBM MQ.
• Strong Troubleshooting Skills
• Good experience using Linux/Unix and Windows platforms with scripting.
• Familiarity with Source Code Management
• Communication Skills and ability to ask questions- General communication and analytical skills (non-technical).
