Job Role –Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Location – San Antonio, TX – onsite (Locals preferred)
Mandatory Skill-Set – SAFe RTE certified, ART (Agile Release train), PI Planning, Risk Mitigation, AWS Services and Cloud migration Jira, Rally.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an RTE or in a similar role within an IT environment, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Certifications: SAFe RTE certification or equivalent Agile certifications.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or equivalent.
- Expertise in AWS and Guidewire migration projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the insurance industry.
- Advanced certifications in Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate ART Events: Plan and facilitate PI Planning, ART syncs, and other key events.
- Manage Risks and Dependencies: Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and dependencies across teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement through Inspect and Adapt workshops and other feedback mechanisms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- AWS and Guidewire Migration: Lead and coordinate efforts related to AWS and Guidewire migrations, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key metrics to ensure ART performance and health.
- Coaching: Mentor and coach teams on Agile practices and principles to enhance their performance and delivery.
