Job Title: SAP HR HCM Consultant
Job Location: Fully Remote
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HR HCM (Human Resources / Human Capital Management) Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP HCM modules to optimize HR processes and deliver solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP HR HCM modules, a strong understanding of HR business processes, and the ability to provide technical expertise and solutions to HR challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP HCM Implementation & Configuration:
Lead and support the implementation and configuration of SAP HCM modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Payroll, Time Management, and Recruitment, among others.
Business Process Mapping & Optimization:
Work closely with HR and IT teams to analyze current HR processes, identify gaps, and recommend SAP HCM solutions to optimize workflows. Design and implement best practices to improve overall HR efficiency.
HR Functional Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide ongoing functional support for SAP HR systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to HCM processes, payroll, benefits, time tracking, and employee data management.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Lead or support the development of test scenarios and scripts for SAP HCM solutions. Manage and execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure proper system functionality.
User Training & Documentation:
Deliver training sessions for HR end users on SAP HCM systems. Create and maintain user manuals, training guides, and system documentation to ensure users are equipped to use the system effectively.
Project Management & Collaboration:
Act as a key point of contact for SAP HCM-related projects. Work closely with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of SAP HCM solutions.
System Integration & Data Management:
Oversee the integration of SAP HCM with other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Finance, third-party payroll systems) to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy across platforms.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with HR regulations and policies. Create and customize HR reports within SAP HCM to support business decision-making and comply with legal requirements.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. SAP HCM certification is a plus.
Experience:
Hands-on experience with SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, Payroll, Time Management, Benefits, etc.) in an implementation or support role. Prior experience working in a consulting or corporate HR environment is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in SAP HR HCM configuration, particularly in areas such as Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, Payroll, and Reporting. Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Finance) is an advantage.
HR Process Knowledge:
Strong understanding of HR business processes, including employee lifecycle management, payroll processes, benefits administration, talent management, and workforce planning.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly. Proven experience in root cause analysis and system optimization.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
Project Management:
Experience supporting or managing SAP HCM-related projects. Ability to manage priorities and work with cross-functional teams to deliver results on time and within budget.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other cloud-based HR solutions.
Knowledge of ABAP for HR or SAP reporting tools such as SAP Query or SAP BI.
Familiarity with global HR processes and regulatory compliance across different regions (e.g., GDPR, labor laws).
Ability to work in an Agile project environment.
