Job Summary –
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced with advanced Bigdata technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, SQL and NoSQL. Strong in programming languages with Hands-on experience: Scala and/or python and experience with Public cloud technologies such as AWS, DataBricks is required.
Years of experience needed –
• Minimum 9 years of hands-on experience with data focused application development such as ETL, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, SQL, AWS, DataBricks
Key Responsibilities:
• Experience with advanced Bigdata technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, SQL and NoSQL.
• Strong in programming languages with Hands-on experience: Scala and/or python.
• Experience with Public cloud technologies such as AWS, DataBricks is required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, assess existing data structures, and design appropriate solutions.
• Develop and implement data migration strategies, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, leveraging Databricks’ capabilities and best practices.
• Design and optimize data models within the Databricks environment, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and adherence to data governance standards.
• Work closely with data engineers, and other stakeholders to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives on the Databricks platform.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members involved in the migration process, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with other teams/applications to ensure compatibility, performance optimization, and scalability of DB and environments.
• Apply emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in data management, analytics, and cloud computing, and apply them to enhance the Databricks migration process.
Certifications Needed:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of ETL Tools, DEVOPS, Github is preferrable.
• Exposure to ElasticSearch, Graph DB is a big plus
• Exposure to machine learning is a plus.
• Knowledge of Finance, custody services, data privacy, AML and related compliance domain is plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen understanding of data analytics and AI-driven insights.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Proven track record of managing large-scale CRM and digital projects from inception to completion.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology landscapes and business requirements.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications are a plus.
