AEM Upgrade/Migration Expert Requirements:
- Technical Expertise in AEM: Understanding of AEM Architecture, familiarity with multiple versions of AEM.
- Upgrade & Migration Planning and Execution:
- Knowledge of different upgrade pathways.
- Experience in planning and executing content migration, including the transfer of assets, and user permissions from one AEM instance to another.
- Expertise in setting up backup and recovery processes to ensure data is not lost during migration.
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Experience in identifying and resolving issues that arise during the migration process.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Ability to create detailed documentation for the upgrade, installation & migration process. Also, train and transfer knowledge to in-house team.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that all security measures are maintained during the upgrade/migration, and familiarity with compliance requirements.
Scope can be described as the following:
- Provide a complete upgrade of AEM product and assets to the latest stable version and migrate from current environment to new. At the completion of the project, the new AEM environment will behave exactly as the existing one.
- Complete installation, configuration, and verification of AEM in TD environment. The installation will consist of a Linux and JBoss environment with Microsoft SQL database. Also, configure AEM for accessing TeraData database system. Configure any operating system, database, or other supporting environments to support legacy functions. Duplicate all necessary security models, permissions, or other system related aspects of the newly installed AEM environment.
- All legacy assets will be installed, migrated and/or updated into the newly installed AEM. Verify that all systems are functional as in the original system and mitigate any issues. Create a runbook that will document installation instructions for reference by TD.
- Provide the installation and configuration Services for up to 3 of the same environments. Production and DR installation and configuration is assumed to be a team approach with only TD personnel having access to the production system.
- Provide email support for up to 60 days following a successful completion of the production installation and configuration.
