Senior AEM Developer

Key Responsibilities:
- AEM Development:
- Design and develop custom AEM components, templates, and workflows to meet business requirements.
- Hands-on experience with AEM 6.2 and 6.4, including core concepts, OSGi, Sling, and Apache Felix.
- Proficiency in AEM authoring, publishing, and deployment processes.
- Strong understanding of AEM’s content management and digital asset management capabilities.
- Agile Development:
- Collaborate with product owners and development teams to understand and refine product backlog items.
- Estimate development efforts and provide realistic delivery timelines.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Problem-Solving and Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AEM applications.
- Provide timely support for AEM authoring environments and content management systems.
- Identify and implement performance optimizations and code improvements.
- Quality Assurance:
- Participate in rigorous testing and quality assurance processes to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java, JSP, and Servlet technologies.
- Experience with AEM core components, such as Sightly, HTL, and Sling Models.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).
- Understanding of web services (REST, SOAP) and integration with backend systems.

Additional Preferred Skills:
