Job Title: IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Position Summary:
The IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing IT infrastructure projects across various stages of the project lifecycle. This role focuses on ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints, while adhering to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT infrastructure domains, strong project management skills, and a proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Develop project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, set expectations, and provide regular project updates.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage issues as they arise to ensure minimal impact on project timelines and deliverables.
Resource Coordination: Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and contractors to allocate resources effectively, ensuring the project is adequately staffed and resourced.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, conducting periodic checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control expenses, and report financial status to stakeholders. Make adjustments as necessary to keep the project within financial constraints.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk logs, meeting notes, and status reports. Report regularly on project progress, metrics, and outcomes.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts, communicate changes, and ensure end-user adoption of new systems, tools, or processes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the project management team.
Required Skills & Experience:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of [5-7] years of project management experience in IT infrastructure, including networking, data centers, cloud environments, and/or systems administration.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, such as networks, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Project Management Skills: Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various teams and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative and team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
ITIL certification and experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
Experience with tools like ServiceNow, ManageEngine, or similar IT infrastructure management software.
Background in cloud infrastructure projects, cybersecurity, or data center management
