Job Overview:
We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer with a strong background in Data Science and AI, particularly in retail. This role involves working within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, building scalable data pipelines, and driving AI solutions with a focus on retail data. Experience with Databricks and Microsoft Open AI is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Azure & Databricks:
Design and manage data pipelines in Azure, leveraging Databricks for ETL and analytics, focusing on retail use cases such as demand forecasting and customer analytics. - AI & Retail Solutions:
Develop and operationalize AI models tailored for retail, using Microsoft Open AI and other machine learning tools to optimize retail operations like inventory and customer behavior analysis. - Collaboration:
Work with data scientists, developers, and business teams to deliver actionable retail insights and solutions. - Data Security:
Ensure compliance with industry standards like GDPR and implement best practices for data governance.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL)
- 2+ years of Databricks experience
- Retail industry experience in Data Science/AI (e.g., customer segmentation, dynamic pricing)
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark
- Optional: Experience with Google Analytics, SEO
- Preferred: Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or AI Engineer certifications
