A Pega Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Pega Platform-based applications. They work closely with business analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborating with business analysts to understand and document business requirements.
- Design and Development: Designing and developing Pega applications using the Pega Platform’s low-code development environment.
- Process Modeling: Modeling business processes using Pega’s case management capabilities.
- Integration: Integrating Pega applications with other systems and applications.
- Testing: Developing and executing test cases to ensure application quality.
- Deployment: Deploying Pega applications to production environments.
- Maintenance: Providing ongoing support and maintenance for Pega applications.
Required Skills:
- Pega Platform: Strong understanding of Pega Platform concepts, features, and best practices.
- Java: Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Case Management: Knowledge of case management concepts and best practices.
- Business Analysis: Ability to understand and analyze business requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
