Job Title: QA Data Tester
Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Data Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and execute test plans, validate data, and troubleshoot issues to maintain high standards of data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for data quality assurance.
- Validate data across various platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Perform data profiling, data validation, and data reconciliation to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Automate testing processes where possible to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Report, track, and manage defects using a test management tool, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct regression testing and performance testing to assess system stability and scalability.
- Document testing processes, results, and methodologies for future reference and compliance.
- Provide feedback to improve data management practices and overall data governance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Tester, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of data testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Oracle, SQL, NoSQL, ETL processes) is MUST.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Experience with test automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
